NL600$ River c/r ?
villian is lifeisjust. He is not a bad player as far as I know but not a very sophisticated one either. Is a c/r a good play sometimes on the river ?

Re: NL600$ River c/r ?
Your river bet size might be too large to get value from something like AT. Also, it's probably too large to get a raise from a completed flush.
I like 1/2 pot like Arkons. I think that gets the most value from one pair hands, while also giving villian a chance to raise a flush or bluff raise to represent the flush. |

Re: NL600$ River c/r ?
i would check that turn very often, as played river bet is fine. i'd probably bet slightly less though.

Re: NL600$ River c/r ?
I wonder what villain had. Seems like villain played the hand bad w/ any holding he could've held. Also, I like a river c/r, because villain will not have a two pair hand that can pay you off very often, a bunch of players will not raise w/ a flush if you lead river, but if you c/r, they will certainly bet, and you have a good shot @ stacking them.

Re: NL600$ River c/r ?
I bet more on turn and less on the river. Checking turn here vs some villians is a solid as well.
