Where to buy a cat
I found a place to live alone legally, rent-free, with running water, electricity and internet access. In Los Angeles.
But I need a cat to hunt rodents. I checked online for pet adoption places, but they want $80-$100 for a "minimum pet adoption donation." I checked Craig's List, and only found one, but its 9-years old and blind in one eye. Anyone know where to get a good cat for cheap?

Try local paper.
Pet stores usually post adoption notices as well. Vet's offices also have bulletin boards. People are always giving those things away; you just gotta know where to look.
