Hand Question
20 + 2 SNG 6-Player NL Tourney.
Blinds: 15/30 Seat 2: (1,470) Seat 3: (1,500) Seat 4: ME (1,500) Seat 5: X (1,500) Seat 6: (3,030) Seat 2 posts the small blind of 15 Seat 3 posts the big blind of 30 The button is in seat #1 *** HOLE CARDS *** Dealt to ME [Qc Qs] I raises to 90 Z raises to 150 All fold back to ME I raises to 650 Z raises to 1,500, and is all in I call 850, and am all in Z shows [Ks Ad] I show [Qc Qs] *** FLOP *** [Ac Td Tc] *** TURN *** [Ac Td Tc] [5d] *** RIVER *** [Ac Td Tc 5d] [Kc] Should I have played this any differently? Maybe take a flop after the minimum reraise? I put him on AK, but is it right to put your whole tourney on a coinflip even if you know it is a coin flip- especially so early in the tourney? I know that after I raised it to 650 I was committed. I just hate putting my tournament on a coin flip. |

Re: Hand Question
Welcome to the forum, hand converter next time please.
with QQ it's not a coin flip, you're way ahead of his range if you're raising to 650 you might aswell go all in, I'd re-raise to something like t400, I think you are a bit too deep to shove, but shovings good too. |

Re: Hand Question
Without a read that this guy is a solid player, I'd just shove over his stupid min re-raise.
As played, you are committed once you raise to 650. Especially after you looked into his soul and saw he had AK. |
