NBA picks for 12/12/06

Only game that I like so far is GS v. Sac (-3.5). Sac is floundering, Kevin Martin is starting to cool off, Artest sprained his ankle + not so clear that his back sprain is doing well. Other than that, GS matches well against teams that play small ball; they've been obliterated only when playing against teams that can rebound. Sacramento is one of the worst rebounding teams in the league. In a game of offensive firepower based on small ball, GS looks good by 6 at home. I plan on betting a smaller fraction of units on this game than the norm.

I may take the Lakers, though I need one more compelling argument (aside from that they just beat SA and are 14-6) before taking them.

BarryLyndon, I agree with your selection but chosing to go with the over 213.5 in this game..thinking that it will be a fast paced game and that both these teams have been putting up a ton of points win the shoot 40% or better.

sac will struggle to put points up, especially with an injured artest and bibby. miller is just coming off an injury, kenny thomas was just sick... as stated kevin martin not playing as well, i dont see the kings holding up their end of the scoring bargain

byanta, Bibby will be playing tonight, he just came off of 16 points vs ATL on the Dec 10. Unless you have a source saying he will not be playing.

Bibby is playing but not able to do any extra shooting due to a hand injury, he has lost some confidence and accurace in his shot.

Bibby has shot over 40% in all of his last 3 games which he hadn't done in any of his previous 9 games. Just wanted to make sure you knew before you make your bet.

sorry i didnt mean to say he wasnt playing, just playing through an injury hes had. he isn't the same.
