19 years old, Neteller won't open my account

When I heard about the internet gambling bill, I kind of panicked, and cashed out all my money. So I didn't play for a while, but now I want to play again. I try to open an account, and they say they don't recognize my SS #. I have a debit card and a checking account that I used to deposit on stars with, but apparently they want to see that I have credit?

They told me to go to my local social security office or something like that, but there has to be an easier way. There are many young people on here that say neteller is so easy to use, but it has never been easy for me. Am I missing something? Also, I have never even heard of a local social security office. Has any else had similar problems?

I had that problem when I was underage also. I tried again about a year later and it worked, I was still underage.

Did you apply for credit cards or anything like that? I thought 18 was accepted... but apparently they don't recognize me

ive had the esact same problem as you and iam very lazy so as a result i just dont have neteller. please pm me or bump this thread if you figure out how to get neteller.

I don't think they are "checking" your credit, but just filing away your soc. number just in case you run away with instacash. I opened my netteller back in 04 and whether or not I gave my soc. number is a good question...

I had the same issue, I'm 19 as well. They told me to scan my SS card and send it to them. I told them [censored] that.

Same here, not sending in a SS card. I just turned 20 and they still cant verify me. Just gotta go without Neteller.

I had the same issue.. went to my local social security office, waited 15 minutes, faxed the paper to neteller, and opened up an account. I know poker players are lazy, but cmon guys.

Same deal, only i sent the e-mail, they said they never got it and sent it again, didn't get that one either, so going to SSO tomorrow hopefully.
