Default General Vegas question week of 16th-21st

What is the general atmosphere for the 16th-21st. Does the town almost shutdown for the 2 weeks before Christmas? Is it really slow, like dead slow or will it be easy to find LLHE games going regularly?

I will be sightseeing during the mornings into the mid afternoon and I have a few shows to see along with watching the Patriots on Sunday. Again any information is appreciated.

Peace all,
Mygtar

I was in Vegas last year from the 17th to the 22nd. It was slower than normal, but not like a ghost town. I stayed at the Bellagio, and the poker room was near full most nights, and not that bad during the day. Many 4/8 games going for you to play. Only visited a few other rooms that trip, and they were half full, with lower limit games going. Have fun, and be sure to see a Cirque show while you are there.

Thanks m bozeman. I am seeing "The Beatles Love" while in town. I have already seen "O" and "Zumanity".

Peace,
Mygtar

Cool. I saw Ka, and it was a great show.

I've been to vegas during the weeks before xmas and it's generally just MORE asian gambl00rs than you'd normally see. At least it seems that way.

It's slower but it doesn't feel totally dead.

I asked a floorman at the MGM about the higher than normal numbers of asians around X-Mas time, and he told me that most of them travel to the U.S. at that time because they know that most Americans don't travel to "Vacation Destinations" at that time. Also, I think that the Chinese new year is sometime around then as well.

How's Zumanity? I've seen O and I'll be in vegas to grind the NL1/2 tables from the 14-18 myself.

Many people have said Ka is better than Zumanity.

I would say see all of them before Zumanity, all are better(haven't seen Love though, but hear its more musical than typical Cirque). I really like Mystere, no water like "O" no moveable stage like Ka, just a good old fashion Cirque show.

Default Tournaments

Along these lines, how has the traffic to the daily tournaments been?

Specifically the Caesars nooner and 7pm.

Also does Bellagio have something going on? The normal $500 dailies or something bigger? I'm a bit out of it since finals hit.

And I haven't been to Vegas since the WSOP when everything was wild so my memory is a bit skewed. I get in on the 17th.
