What is the the best way to gain max value ?
Hey all,
Just wondering what ppl think about trying to get max value ? In the example below there i flop quad As, i think the way i played it was ok, not sure if it is the best way to gain max value ! The Villian that see the river has stats of 49/10/1.3 over 50 hands, and the other villian who does the betting has stats of 70/22/2. Active stacks are about 90-100 $ for all players Cryptologic No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.50/$1 6 players Converter Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $5</font>, Button calls, 3 folds, UTG+1 calls. Flop: A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ($17.5, 3 players) UTG+1 checks, Hero checks, <font color="#cc0000">Button bets $5</font>, UTG+1 calls, Hero calls. Turn: 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($32.5, 3 players) UTG+1 checks, Hero checks, Button checks. River: 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($32.5, 3 players) <font color="#cc0000">UTG+1 bets $10</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $35</font>, Button calls, UTG+1 folds. Results: Final pot: $112.5 Is this the line most ppl would have taken ? If not what would you do in this situation ? shluld my bets sizes be bigger/smaller? As i raise PF then check the flop of AA8 is this dodgy?do u think fishes pick up on this ? All feedback is appricated ! WelshChip

What were you planning on doing if faced with a turn bet? [/ QUOTE ] Depends which player bets, if its from UTG then i would flat call, if its the Button, then i would look for a raise at this point
