I have had a very up and down last 3 months. Big time really. Playing anywhere from 2/4NL upto 50/100NL. On the year at my high point I was up around 175k and now Im probly around 120k for the year. How many of you advocate me withdrawing 80-90% of my roll so I can put a downpayment on a nice house. This would leave me with 10-20k as I havent decided how much id leave online. Has anyone else done this? If so how did you find returning to lower stakes on a small roll? I really would like some input as Im sure Im not the only one to have this idea.
Side notes, Im 21 years old, no real people job and a terrible worthless degree Im only half done. |

You sound like a total donk who has been on an insane rush and are now starting to experience some variance. Getting your money out of poker and into a firm asset may be the best thing for your future.

Withdraw down to 10k and play 1-2nl, and use the rest to PAY YOUR TAXES and make a down payment on a reasonable house and save money set aside for house payments and other bills.
