Default NL 200 flopped top set on a scary board.

First time post in this forum, do hand converters work at bodog? I just sat at this table. no reads. advice?
Full ring I'm in EP with 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I limp someone in MP calls and button calls. SB folds,BB checks
POT: 9$
Flop:3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
BB checks, I bet 8$, MP folds, button raises to 16$, BB folds, I raise to 32$ , button goes all in 228$, I call 168$

try and avoid minraising especially in this situation where the possibility he has a draw is high.

Make it 50 and if he pushes then without reads I think you have to call but its not a nice situation

tough hand, I guess he showed you A2 or 67?

Raise or fold preflop, limping SPP's is bad because you sort of give away your hands and you dont have initiative.

I 3b flop to like 55 ish, and call a push. Youve got decent equity vs a straight, and you have any 2 pair or lower set basically drawing dead.

Thanks for the advice. I agree the minraise was lame. So was calling his all in a bad move? Also, with small pockets I always thought seeing a flop cheap was the best option, or calling a raise and hope for trips on the flop to potentially stack a big overpair. How much do you usually raise pre with them?

I would raise preflop, even in full ring

The flop bet is fine. When he min raises, I would either bump it to $50 or so , or call and check raise hard on a blank turn. I prefer the former but the latter is an applicable line

Your raise to $32 sucks.

As played, easy call
