Tonight - NO @ DAL(-7.5), 47.....thoughts??

I think I like Dallas SU....what do you guys think?

7.5 is an awful lot to give a team as good as the Saints. Brees is the real deal, while Romo has been getting away with a lot of bad balls IMO. I'd expect the public to be heavy on Dallas because they are perceived as this unstoppable juggernaut all of a sudden... these are always dangerous words, but I see value in the Saints.

They're perceived exactly the same, except the Saints are flashier and Cowboys have the name appeal.. Two extremely public teams and one is getting 7.5 makes the dog the public side, the right side was DAL -7

Look, I think Dallas is the better team, but 'name appeal'? Dallas was the most talked-about 5-11 team ever for three years running pre-Parcells. Yeah the Saints are a nice story and their homefield is overrated because of the Mon. night Atl. game in Sept. but playing this game being on the road and neither team being much better at home I don't really think that's a factor. If their lines were so inflated they wouldn't have been +4 in Pitt or +3 in Atl.
I'm not saying I love the Saints but they're my 2nd fav. play in an overall unappealing week fwiw (not much).

I don't think the line got from 6 to 7.5 by New Orleans being the public side.

I think you could have had them at -6 for a while earlier this week, so I don't recommend laying 7.5. Good luck.

I think this is very similar to when New Orleans went to Pittsburgh. I like Dallas and the over in this one. I grabbed Dallas at -6.5 last Sunday and am very happy with that.
