Default Slightly OT : Standard Coaching Fees?

I've been asked by a cpl players from another forum to coach them.

Obv I might have my own ideas about what standard rates/payments terms could be but since this would be my first time, what do ppl here who have coached/been coached consider standard for fees, terms, etc?

Fwiw I'd be coaching some less experienced players at nl100 and 200...

I'm not sure exactly what to charge since I will benefit from this probably as much as the ppl I'll be coaching.

As a first time coach, I'd recommend starting out at a lower rate than you plan to be at once you've established yourself. Also, consider that the players you're coaching have to be able to afford it given their current bankroll, and most players won't want to drop like 10% of their roll on a session.

Other than that it varies a lot between different coaches, just figure out what you think is reasonable and talk to the students about it, chances are you'll figure out a good deal between the two of you.

thx DJ

if anyone can chime in with examples of $$ they've paid or charged it would be appreciated. I have coached ppl in different disciplines before but I'm not sure really what parameters should be considered here. I'm making approx 125$/hr when I play over a medium sized sample. Not sure if or how much this should factor in.
