Default river action 4 flush board w/ trips

below average player but not horrible opens UTG+2, folds to you in the CO and you 3-bang w/ AdQd.

Blinds fold, UTG+2 four bets, you call. (range is wide here, likes to put in lots of bets preflop, esp/ HU)

flop

K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

check, you bet, he c/r's, you call

turn

10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

he checks, you bet, he calls

river
Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

he bets.

reasons to call?

he knows the pots big and will likely get called by plenty of hands. this is 40-80 btw.

save a bet?

raise?

call?

i've seen him go 7 bets on the flop w/ TPTK NF draw about an hour before this hand happened, if that offers any insight. he's also up about 30 BB's over the last five hours, and he plays looser when winning.

I call here. His flop action could represent top pair easily enough in my opinion.

Just how large is the villain's 4 bet range here? 88 and up? Villain took a rather unusual line here and makes me feel a bit lost. I wouldn't expect JJ with the J of spades to checkraise this flop and I don't see why AA, KK, QQ or AJ wouldn't just bet the turn (or checkraise). Sounds like he's got a pair under T with a spade. Given the description and the nice strength of your hand I'd call for sure.

Seems like an easy call to me.
