Warning about WPEX

Their support is absoloutly worthless. If you have any problems with the site, do not even bother using the support. They lie to you, they ask you the same question several times regardless of how many times you have answered it, and when it comes down to it, they don't even solve the problem. here is a conversation I have with one of the employees. Look how many inaccuracies.

You are now speaking with Nigel of Poker & Casino.

Jonah: and just now found out that it never took me to the table

Jonah: and then i get there a bunch of people are out already a bunch of my chips are gone

Jonah: but If I can leave it, and be given my buy in back I am happy with that

Jonah: I didnt even get a fair shot at this

Jonah: the most crucial time is the beginning when the blinds are 10/20

Jonah: i get in there

Jonah: i have 1,400 chips

Jonah: and it is 15/30

Jonah: that is unfair

Nigel: he stepped out for about 15 minutes

Jonah: then all of a sudden I was like hey didnt I register for that

Jonah: so i close it and re-open it and it seats me

Nigel: i am sorry for the long hold Jonah

Nigel: but the system is moving really slow

Jonah: I am still in the tournament right now is there any way to kick me out of it and get my buy in back

Nigel: did you actually get to sit at the table though?

Jonah: with 1400 chips at 15/30 blinds yes

Jonah: i dont want to be though

Jonah: I dont like to miss the first round of blinds in a tourney I feel they are the most crucial

Jonah: cause it is only then where u can play the loosest preflop

Jonah: Do you know what I mean?

Jonah: It's like walking into a review session for a class late, when the test is the next day

Nigel: i'll review the matter and my supervisor will make a decision

Jonah: ok, when will I know

Nigel: can I send you an email?

Nigel: i cant say how soon

Jonah: I'd prefer to know earlier than that

Jonah: but the blinds being 15/30 is more detrimental then the chips i lost

Jonah: cause they have moved up so fast now that i didnt even get a fair shot to try to build a stack

Jonah: I am not trying to cheat the site out of 2$, I am genuinely upset that it didn't start right

Jonah: 10/20 is the blinds for 10 minutes and when i got in there was 7 minutes left of 15/30

Jonah: which means I was 13 minutes late because of the software

Jonah: im just saying, it is frustrating

Jonah: so over 2$ they are going to lose a customer at their site and I will make sure to post on 2+2 poker forums about how poorly they handled this situation, so now over 2$ they are going to lose more than that in clientel

Jonah: cause I sure as hell am withdrawing all my money out of here

Jonah: I'll make sure to talk to the WPEX manager who posts at that site about this also,

Nigel: from what i gather you registered for a tournament and the table did no appear

Nigel: you lost 100 out of 1500 chips

Nigel: and are now requesting a refund of your buy-in

Jonah: it is outrageous that because YOUR software was faulty, it ruined my tournament and that u wont refund it

Jonah: the first 10 minutes

Jonah: with the 10/20 blinds

Jonah: are the most vital

Jonah: because u can play a lot of hands because the blinds are so low

Jonah: to come in short stacked with 15/30 blinds with 7 minutes left is terrible

Nigel: well i will no beat around bush here. you are not going to get your buy-in back due to the fact that your table did not appear.. and you lost 100 chiups

Jonah: that means in 7 minutes its going to be 25/50

Jonah: I several times asked

Nigel: it is your responsibility ensure that you are connected to the internet during seating

Jonah: MY RESPONSIBILITY?

Jonah: IT IS YOUR FAULTY SOFTWARE

Jonah: Are you serious?

Nigel: you should have contacted us once the tournament started and a table did no appear

Nigel: yes i am 100% serious

Jonah: I DID

Jonah: CONETT or whatever her name is

Jonah: said you were out for 15 minutes

Jonah: and I had to wait

Nigel: this is the story i have on my end, you contact us requesting refund for your tournament fees

Jonah: I CONTACT YOU IMMEDIATLY when I find out that I wasnt seated correctly

Jonah: then I get stalled by connett

Jonah: then you come in after 20 minutes

Jonah: and tell me I cant have it back

Jonah: after the tournmanet is 20 more minute into play

Jonah: great customer support

Jonah: really, flawless

Nigel: Jonah, this is it, the table did not appear.. you waited 20 minutes and then logged out and logged abck in at which point the table appeared...

Jonah: I DIDNT WAIT 20 minutes

Nigel: you noticed you were out 100 chips and contacted us and asked for a refund

Jonah: it is supposed to pop up automatically

Nigel: yes, and obviously there must have been some internet problems

Jonah: I am doing other things on my computer besides watching for the split second when it starts

Nigel: that caused the table to not appear

Jonah: No, it is WPEX software problems

Jonah: because I have never had any problem with any other tournament at any other site I play on

Nigel: if you contact us right away you would ahve been told to close the software and re open it.. at which point the table would have appeared

Jonah: I have played at poker stars, bodog, Partypoker and not once

Nigel: and you would not have been out the 100 chips...

Jonah: Would have could have should have

#1, what does QFT mean, and #2 I dont care about the 2$. 2$ is nothing compared to what i have made there. It is conceptual. And Poorolrich, guess what, it is NOT because I forgot, it is because their software SUCKS. At any site I have ever been too I have NEVER not even at PARTY had a tournament not work when i register. It is supposed to AUTO SEAT YOU in a mutli table tournament. this is a GIVEN at any ONLINE POKER SITE. Name me one online poker site where you have to manually join your seat for a multi table tournament. I dont give a [censored] about 2$. It is the concept that they wouldnt make the refund even though the biggest reason was their software combined with their supports incompetence.

And its Over-The-Top terrible customer service who lies about their identity that makes a legitmate attempt at a poker site, "get lost in the shuffle" of good sites
