Default NL 10: Pocket Aces

Villain has 55/15/0,86 over 68 Hands. He seems pretty loose. Calling with Top pair down to the end.

Do you think betting 1/2 pot on turn is a better alternative here ? If he raises me I can let the Aces go with over the half of my Stack. But now I am potcommitted right ?

I'd make a crying call. My guess is you're behind, but I don't think your play was wrong. You have such a shortstack that I think you're pot-committed so call and hope for the best.

I like the flop bet, and I'd push my last four bucks in the middle (and shed no tears)...

At the turn, you're only behind to pocket nines/tens (which seems unlikely villain with a 15% PFR would limp) or that he has a deuce. You're paying $4 to win $20½ -- so even if villain has that deuce as much as 80%, you're still +EV...

Disclaimer: I might be a nit; my math might be flawed...

Call. He is a rather passive guy, but his vpip is very high so this is not a real clue. You will see a 2 here often since he will complete with any 2 in the SB. But he could have all kinds of other crap too. So I think 16.5:4 = more than 4:1 is reasonable to call.

You did fine. I would be betting for value here anyway as well. It is 10NL, call it, rebuy if he has the goods and get it back.
