Where should I go?
I will be transfering after this spring from my local cc (NJ). I'm sure I'll end up with a 3.6-3.7 gpa. I already went to a 4 year, but it was too small, so I transfered to my local cc and will be transfering out for next fall. I want a good size school, ranging from medium to huge, just not small. I need solid sports teams, mainly football and basketball, so I can attend these games since I am a huge sports fanatic. I will be majoring in business. Lastly, I don't want to be in the middle of the U.S. Some schools that interested me: Ohio State, Maryland, UF, BC.....just to name a few. Any thoughts would be great, especially if you attend one of these schools or a similar school.

Re: Where should I go?
Pretty sure NC (not sure which, but I'm sure you can find it w/ some digging) has a good Business program. My friend transferred there and loved it. Happy hunting.

Re: Where should I go?
Boston is a good college town, but BC is a bit expensive and I'm not sure how big it actually is. Illinois is awesome but you don't want to be here, Ohio State is good as well.

Re: Where should I go?
i would aim higher. you have nothing to loose but an opportunity to land a better job out of undergrad and in addition to that, you did well.

Re: Where should I go?
yeah i was thinking about that like fordam which has one of the highest paying out of graduation, maybe try to get into nyu which would be real tough... but a school like michigan is up there on the undergrad list at like 4 or 5 along with ucal.. both solid schools with great sports teams... i will apply and see what happens

Re: Where should I go?
Go Deacs. The Business program is the shiznit. It's going to be hard tho. Accounting is 2nd in the country. Good climate, good sports, reasonably attractive girls.
BC sucks, Boston sucks, it's cold. |

Re: Where should I go?
if u want to go to mich or cal (which u would pay out of state tuition, costing yourself almost 40K) you might as well try the best for your money like Princeton, Penn, Columbia, etc. You want to go for value, I would just go to Rutgers. In-state and decent academics.

Re: Where should I go?
If you're talking about NC State, I was considering that as well but visited the campus and it is downright ugly. They have decent sports teams, though. The campus is all brick, no grass anywhere, and there will be construction there for the next 5 years. Ugly campus, unless you like brick.
I'm in the same boat as you are and have applied to Ohio State and Florida (looking at business as well). They are both at the top of their class in business as well as sports, obviously. |

Re: Where should I go?
Come to Maryland! Great Business program, great sports, hot girls, big school with a lot of opportunity being close to D.C. and Baltimore.
