Odd strategy question
Minimum betting the flop OOP, even with a large pot out there.
Ive started to see a lot more of this sort of thing recently and was wondering why players do it and how I should react to it. Normally, I act as if noone has bet if the bet is really that insignificant but Im sure I could be missing angles with this. Are there obv. reads that go along with this play? Thanks in advance AC |

Re: Odd strategy question
Just to add, I can sometimes see this as them trying to get a cheap draw or they have a monster and want me to do exactly what I am doing. Towards clear strength later in the hand, Im a lot more wary.

Re: Odd strategy question
I act as though they never bet, unless a min bet is a 1/2 pot bet (which it is in bvb situation). Just add it to the pot when calculating how much to bet (1/2-full pot, etc)

Re: Odd strategy question
Raise flop to about pot, beware a flat call.

Re: Odd strategy question
Actually, some I have seen use this as a sort of flop probe bet!
They then follow it uip on the turn with a bet they should have made on the flop. |
