Default 1/2 NL how to adjust to large preflop raises

I just stated playing in a homegame no limit holdem. The blinds are 1/2 and the buyin is 50/300. The problem is that the first time I played I did I was not ready for the abnormally large preflop raises! the standard raise is to 15 20 or sometimes 25. Forget about the normal 3bb+1 per limper. I have tightened up and try to limp/reraise my bigger hands from EP.

They are mixed postflop in skill, some fishy calling too much, or pushing weak hands. Some are too horrible to attempt to do any kind of hand reading on, or apply normal poker logic to. A few are decent.

I play 1/2NL 6m and 2/4NL 6m online, so I believe I am the best player at the table but I could be wrong.

any suggestions?
