yo NT, "ask me" threads belong in OOT

here's a thread that was locked in OOT after it was passed to another forum and then back again.
locked OOT thread

it's an "ask me" topic which belongs in OOT. in the last week there has been an ask me about caddying (didnt get moved to sports), ask me about mortgage brokering (didnt get moved to finance), ask about ebay (wasnt moved to making money) ...you get the idea.

is there any reason you decided to be inconsistent and move one of these threads that could have been interesting to another forum and lock it so no one could respond?

i hate to start a new thread about this but when NT locks the thread this is where it goes.

That thread was ok and i would have continued reading it if it stayed in oot (unlocked).

That thread should be moved to whatever is the most mindnumbingly boring forum. Sports betting?

the thread clearly belonged in a finance forum. i moved it and it got moved back. i locked it.

sniper pm'd me to say the thread would have been welcome in the OTHER finance forum so i'll move it there now.

re: being inconsistent and not moving other threads. this was the only one on the front page at the time i moved it. i don't read 2p2 24/7 like some of you do. chill out.

the three threads i mentioned all had ~100 replies at the time i made this thread and were all recent making them some of the most popular threads of the week.

it hardly takes 24/7 reading to see any one of those three.

Bob, as best as I can tell, here's the sequence of events...

1. NT moved the thread to Money Making
2. OP complained about the move
3. Ryan moved it back to OOT

I think I'm going to ask Mat to add me to the MM mod list to avoid this type of confusion in the future.

It's in Finance now, and unlocked, for anyone interested...
