Alright, I'm damn sure I lost some value here.
Both the flop bettor and caller seem to play pretty straight-foward postflop, they are definitely capable of folding marginal hands relative to the board. My image is TAG. Do you guys raise the flop? Given the flop call do you bet the turn or look to extract whatever value possible on the river? I definitely raise the flop.
You don't want QJ to hit and if either of your cards hit it kills your action. Also, there's that whole building the pot thing. |

This is fine. Flop raise is fine as well, but they're gonna fold a lot.

[/ QUOTE ] lol, this isn't good, IMO. 1. this isn't fine, we need to get value now while people like their hands enough to bet/call. turn could bring overs/4th straight card/pair the board, etc. 2. yes they'll fold flop a lot, so? winning small is better than losing big. and the more aggressive we are raising flops the harder it is to play against us, because if they fold every time they are just bleeding $ to us. |

they called 11 on the flop. you could minimum raise to 22 and get callers. its better to raise before the turn card than after as your hand will not improve.
the turn card will never help you. it might help them beat you. if the turn does not help them and you bet, it tells them your hand is better and its safe to fold. should have considered jamming on the flop since there was a ton of money in the pot anyway. 9 PF add 22 from the flop bets is 31 already. basically since they already HAD 11 in the pot and you acted last, just imagine they all checked to you and that the preflop betting had made the pot 31. You wouldnt check it would you? you would bet. |

Given that you are acting last, I think raising the flop is definitely the right play. I'd make it fairly small though, like 35ish.

.. i dont get whats so funny. if they are willing to bet 11, and you raise it, you could bet at least 22 and get callers. no?
flat calling that 11 was a mistake. |
