Default Suggestion for TLB

I don't think the rebuys get enough credit in terms of Tournament Leaderboard Points. There should be a modification to the TLB formula to give more points to rebuy tourneys. I suggest counting the buyin as 5xBuyin.

When I check the yearly tournament leader board, I want to see the best tourney players, not those who play the most 180 man SNGs.

Clearly, the rebuys are the staple of the Stars tournament structure, so why not glorify them even more?

Rebuys should definitely get 3x the points, or maybe they should adjust the TLB to be based on prizepool.

Prizepool/Entries = Avg Buyin
That sounds like a fair and objective formula to determine the amount of TLB points to be awarded.

Does the current TLB setup regard the $3/5/10/+ rebuys as $3/5/10/+ FO's? I'm guessing it does, but I'm not sure.

This is what it should be. It's been discussed a few times before during the 'Ask Lee Jones' threads.

I agree, coincidentally I sent Jurollo a pm about this yesterday.

3x is a default that makes sense I think; prize pool/entrants would be perfect but maybe they'll think that's too complicated.

Something should be done... one thing to realize though is how huge the small rebuys would become for tlbs, b/c # entrants is such a powerful factor. $30/1750 entrants and $9/2750 entrants are both worth more than $150/1000; i.e. winning the 55K or the nightly $3r would be more tlbs than winning the Stuper.

i think they are overhauling the TLB for next year (well changing it a bit anyway) and this is one of the things they're doing. i think they're including all sit and gos with two tables or more as well?
