This was at a Pokerstars $11 game I was playing. I was an observer when this hand came up in level 1. (I'll fast-forward to the turn:
The board shows: AQQA Player A goes all-in Player B calls the all-in Player C also calls the all-in Player A shows A7o. Player B shows ATo. Player C shows 88. [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] I guess he thought that 3 pair beats a boat. |

I once got someone to call my river push with 99 on a KKTT7 board. I had KK.

There's this idea that gets into peoples head that when they realise their hand got counterfitted they gotta push or make a terrible call to dig themselves out of a hole, it's really weird but happens all the time.I guess they figure either they catch a bluff or they get an oppertunity to complain about a 'bad beat'.
