AK hand, is this an all in shove pre-flop?
I was tempted to go all in but the reraise threw me.
I have no reads on this guy as I just started NL PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) MP1 ($72.90) MP2 ($97) MP3 ($64.35) CO ($64) Button ($44.50) Hero ($138.65) BB ($234.85) UTG ($100) UTG+1 ($94.50) Preflop: Hero is SB with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. <font color="#666666">4 folds</font>, MP3 calls $1, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $4</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises to $12</font>, MP3 folds, Hero calls $8. Flop: ($25) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font> Hero checks, <font color="#CC3333">BB bets $17</font>, Hero folds. Final Pot: $42 Whats the best line pf in this spot? |

Re: AK hand, is this an all in shove pre-flop?
Eh, this is not a great spot OOP. I dont remember how often people light 3b in the 100 game TBH.
I want to say folding is out of the question, but calling doesnt really get you a lot of value postflop. Shoving turns your hand faceup if BB is 2p2/decent (unlikely). |

Depending on villain flop is a fold/call IMO. I rarely push with AKo.
As played, i don't mind this hand at all. |

I don't play full ring but villian has a big stack. He probably knows how to play. Given that info. 4 Bet pre flop to $40 and lead hard on flop.
