Default $200 NL, 4 handed TP + flush draw

Stacks: Hero (SB) $200, Button $120, UTG covers
Blinds are $2-4

UTG has been raising a lot preflop and making large C-bets and probably a few double barrel bluffs, he showed at least one. Button just sat down.

Hero has A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

UTG raises to $12, Button calls, Hero (SB) calls, BB folds.

Flop is A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] pot is ~ $36

Hero checks, UTG bets $20, Button raises to $40, Hero?

I was planning on check calling flop then check raising turn against UTG, as he definatly doesn't seem to like to give up on pots that he has raised. When button raised I didn't know what do to.

What do you think about preflop? Thanks

i think i let this one go. you are behind, you have low FE, a push is gross, and a call is even grosser.

preflop is fine but if he's been raising a lot pf i might rather repop him than just call--you'd rather play this pot heads up.

i like your default line though for the CR, but this three handed action before you changes things.

Tough spot but I dont think a push is bad. I belive you still have some FE here and you have a ton of pot equity. Im not saying that a fold is bad either because this is one of those spots where youre not losing much either way.

if a push is good, it isn't THAT good. it's at most barely +EV. i think the low variance route is the way to go here.

Call>>>>Fold with the nut FD and a pair. I usually shove this given the reads (or lack of).
