Explain me how US education system works. Like who old are you when you go into certain levels (high school, college, university) etc. Havenīt figured it out completely in detail yet.

it's not the same everywhere. where i went, grades 1-8 were elementary school, then 9-12 were high school. grade 1 starts when you are 6. college/university (same thing here) comes after high school.
i know some schools split it as 1-5 is elementary school, 6-8 is middle school. |

High school is almost always 4 years, from ages 14-18. These are grades 9-12.
After that, college and university are different names for the same thing... it's usually 4 years leading to a bachelor's degree. I know that, in Europe, some countries it's more common to do 5 years to a master's as a default. Before high school, there is middle school or junior high (same thing), which are usually grades 6-8 (ages 11-14). It varies from state to state, I've even been to a district where it's elementary grades 1-4, middle school 5-6, and junior high 7-8. |
