Default Trips vs a showdown monkey

Villain is about 30/9/1.14 with a wtsd of 55%. Hes been running pretty hot and is basically a donk. He likes to limp call pre and Ive been raising alot.

This was a previous hand we played, so at least he can read a board.

Wow Id be really tempted to shove, but Id like to hear what more experienced players make of his pot bet on river/

seems like were obviously ahead here, but I think calling is still the play.. ( a showdown monkey could have AK here )

is folding an option? From his other hand he seems raelly passive, and he just bet huge into you after you've shown considerable strength.

Yeah, I'd fold.

I dunno, I figure if im fine with calling here I may as well just raise ai and get some more value from Ax.

Based on the previous hand tho I think folding is perfectly reasonable. I have never seen him make a strong bet like this at any time during the session.
