After suffering too many bad beats, I can't lay down high PPs. Please help.

I do too, but I kind of giggled that each street brought an awful, awful card for you.

Would've been funnier if the turn was the 4c, and the river was the Ad.
Did you have any stats on the villain here? Is he the type to raise off the bat with the trips, or more likely to slowplay? I feel like I usually see people slowplay them, but people with a low post-flop aggression factor who raise the paired flop I give more credit for the trips.

I play it the same and expect to lose. Which begs the question "where do I fold?", and unfortunately the answer is "you can not fold!".

NB: I guess if SB was ultra passive and check-raised pretty much never you could fold the turn.
