6 max 1K NL, 3 handed. At first I thoguht villain was a decent lag, then i realized he was just a lag fish. fine line indeed ;; I've stacked him 3.5 times in the past 2 days, so he probably hates me. FYI he cbets 100% of flops.

Villain has 1700, I cover.

I get Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] OTB. I raise to 35, villain in SB 3 bets to 105, BB folds, I just call?

220 flop. Flop comes 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. He bets 150, I call?

Turn, 520 in pot. Turn comes A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. He bets 300. I call?

River, 1120 in pot. It comes 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] He has about 1100 left. He checks. I check?

I personally don't think it's a bad line. You'll have the best hand the majority of the time here on the river.

I wouldn't v-bet the river (unless I just KNEW he had JJ) and risk him pushing, same goes with raising the turn (and I definitely call the turn).

PF/River check are definately good.

Flop and turn are OK too if he is really a LAG fish.

If we believe we'll have the best hand the majority of the time on the river, then why not v-bet/fold to AI raise? So long as we know he won't check-raise bluff like this, doesn't a v-bet make us more $ in the long run?

I ask because I find myself checking behind a lot on with hands and boards like this, but I often worry I am not maximizing profit.

I was thinking this myself, as i tend to find it unlikely that fishy players will see this as a value bet and check raise with worse hands, but you might still be able to get value from a non-believing Tx hand or JJ.

What do you do in this hand if he checks the turn? Clear value-bet? (and check/check river if he calls turn?)

Turn is a tough call for me but I think it is fine.

River seems good. Overall the hand is pretty good I think.
