I dont think shoving here is an awful play but I agree that flat calling is the best option for you here.

Re: (60 ps) Bad push right? AK?
if utg+1 is average to good player he is raising AQ+,TT+ or something close to it. with the two callers in there you are most likely up against at least 1 pocket pair. you will likely be racing from behind here, so i would just call this.

[/ QUOTE ] Well the issue is whether you think there's a decent chance they will all fold, because 500 chips helps you a WHOLE bunch and with the dead money in there a coinflip isn't so bad. I guess if you had a read that UTG+1 was LAGgy, I'd shove. But vs. the usual crop of retards I'd just call. |

[/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] If he's nitty his range is real tight to start with and he isn't going to fold given the number of squeeze plays that people try and the dead money in the pot. But if he's opening with A9o or whatever even a LAGtard will know to fold. |

Re: (60 ps) Bad push right? AK?
Hmmm, without reads that UTG+1 was a real nitty solid player, I'd be pushing all the time here. So much dead money in chips going on here.
