Default Tenn +1 vs Houston +104

I just don't see how this isn't a lock. Anyone care to comment?

I agree, that's why I'll probably bet on Houston instead.

Both these teams are a lot better than people give them credit for. Its just the the Titans have been noticed now.

Why not take the moneyline instead?

Tenn is 5-2 over their last 7. After a horrible start this isn't that bad of a team. They gave the Colts everything they wanted in Indianapolis and beat them Sunday. That counts for something.

Tenn Defense vs Houston offense:

Sure their defense is below average but it's not that much worse than Houston's offense so it's not that big of a minus. If you only count games since they have turned things around the defense is probably better than Houston's offense.

Tenn Offense vs Houston's Defense:

I'm not sold on Micheal Young but they are better since he has started playing. I don't think this is much of a contest. Advantage Tenn. Houston's defense is bad and Tenn offense is improving. Travis Henry has been having some big games and I don't see that changing here.

Tenn should cover this more than 50% of the time. A lot more.

Probably a better idea now that you mention it.

I agree with that when it comes to Tenn but if Houston is better than most people give them credit for, then most people must not give them much more credit than them being horrible. I won't go as far as that but they are bad.

Worry about a letdown with the Titans, but the Texans were hardly able to move the ball last week without Flanagan. It won't hurt 'em as much in this game, but it'll still be an issue.

I don't think the win over Indy will be a let down but rather a confidence booster. Tenn will be expecting to win this game. If they get down early (10-0 or so) they won't be rattled.

That's the point. If the Titans "expect" to win then they won't have the same hunger. Beating one of the best teams in the AFC (and a division rival no less) makes for a distraction.

You think the Titans will be asked more questions about the Colts or the Texans this week? That's the key--distraction.
