Default overpair facing all-in reraise on dangerous flop

10 players NL hold'em blinds $0.5/$1:
UTG ($44.71) ME ($145.10)
UTG makes it $4, folded to me on the button with Kc Ks.
I make it $10, blinds fold UTG calls (pot = $21.50).
So far UTG has played tight from EP, raising with premium hands.
Flop comes 7h Ts Jh.
UTG checks, I bet $10, UTG moves all-in for $34.71.
$24.71 to call $66.21, getting 2.68:1.
I've seen UTG play drawing hands passively (check calling), and I'm thinking if he's got Ah Qh or Ah Kh he's gonna reraise all-in preflop since he's out of position, he'll want to see all 5 cards to improve. To me given my reads on him, despite the good calling odds, I folded because this screamed a set, any thoughts...

Raise more preflop. I like a raise to at least 14. After that the hand should play out more easily postflop. I think you have to call this with those pot odds.

Worst laydown ever. Seriously, shortstacks do this here with Top and second pair, plus this is a super drawy board that he could be pushing with about 343513413 different hands you're ahead of. I'd be delighted to get my $$ in here.

Biosludge has good point that I should raise more preflop, then the all-in call would have been easier. I wasn't paying enough attention to his chipstack. Samsonite I would agree with you too if I didn't know his playing type. It turns out he had a set of 10's. I find alot of low limit players reraising/calling all-ins with overpairs, which ususally isn't good enough, espcially on this board.

Instacall... he only has $20 left and he shoves SO MANY HANDS HERE its ridiculous. I will never fold this for $20 and i would say ur ahead at least 50% of the time, making this a must-call.

first of all, raising more preflop has nothing to do with his chip stack, a reraise of 2.5x is too small regardless of chip stacks

second, you cant be too results oriented with the fold, the odds you are getting are much too good on a very drawy flop where he could be pushing a lot that you beat to fold this, yes this time you were behind but the +ev move in the long run is to call this
