Default C-BET OOP ?

Hi,

is it ok to C-Bet a pot with 3 players when you are between ?
Lets say you hold in MP3 AJo and raised, the SB (who is still in the pot but checked) and the Button is behind you, but you have no reads on the opponents! The Flop is 369 rainbow!

Is it correct or generally correct to C-Bet OOP ? Or you have to be every time last to act (IP)?

I read in HoH Vol I the C-Bet can make when no one has entered the pot, you missed the flop, the flop is not dangerous! But he told nothing about a possible opponent on you left !?

Betting a multiway pot is pretty much suicide. It's generally only right to continuation bet in a headsup pot. If you're in position, you can check flop, and fire if it's checked around to you again on the turn.

It really depends on who the opponents are etc. If you've got a pair of set mining nits then go for it. If you've got a couple of calling machines then don't.

Ok lets think that you are heads up and you are first to act, the same flop, the same hand...

is a c-bet ok ? No callingstation, no tricky player !?

I think it was BalugaWhale who said that cbetting into more than one opponent was a big leak or something that when he stopped doing it his winrate rose or sth in that vain. As a general rule of thumb I have to have a reason not to cbet HU, but have to have a good reason (e.g. board texture) why to cbet 3-way+.

In the same hand and you are heads up, You can c-bet when you miss. But do not overdo it. I know someplayers like to make a c-bet 100% of the time. I make it about 75% of the time. I make it when I hit, when i flop a draw or when the board looks like it didn't help my opponent. The boazrd you gave, 369 rainbow, I'd probably make a c-bet OOP.
