Re: FILLED UP ON RIVER Vs DONK....NOW WHAT??
That ten may well have scared villain, which is why some say you should raise the flop. I personally like hooking them in with a call. You want him allin so raising the turn to 50 is an option, but it does scream that the ten has helped you from the rooftops.
On a side note, if villain had started with $100, very occasionally I would min raise the turn because it commits then, frustrates them and they often cannot fold it. Why would this be so wrong? |

Re: FILLED UP ON RIVER Vs DONK....NOW WHAT??
he either has a flush or he has a junky Q/similar trash. he can't call much with the latter so the question is will he raise again with a flush? if so make a small raise and push over his reraise. if not, just shove and pray...

Re: FILLED UP ON RIVER Vs DONK....NOW WHAT??
thatīs a junk Q soooo often, the small turnbet looks like he is afraid of the flush himself, and the smaller riverbet secounds that IMO. So iīd try to get some value out of the Q hands and try to find a magic betsize that he will call with Q3 and come over the top off with the flush.
In other words, i raise to 98$ or so |

Push for value, raising less has no point imo

Re: FILLED UP ON RIVER Vs DONK....NOW WHAT??
Shove and hope he has a flush.
Rest of the hand i play pretty similar, except i raise to 8 preflop, and bet pot on this drawey flop. I call turn as well. River is a shove, as most mentioned above. |
