AK under pressure to dodgy flop 600nl
Villain is solid 14VPIP 10PFR
Im not sure I played Preflop \ Post flop well but am trying to justify my fold. Partypoker No-Limit Hold'em, $6 BB (5 handed) Hero UTG ($655) Cutoff ($1618) Button ($212.25) SB ($275.25) BB Villain ($675.10) Preflop: Hero is UTG with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Hero raises to $18, 3 folds, Villain raises to $54,Hero calls $36. Flop:($111) A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villain bets $84 - Hero Calls. My thinking is that Im behind to AA\QQ\JJ\AQ\AJ and only tieing AK. Turn:($279) 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Villain bets $186...Hero folds... Is this weak passive and donkish on my part or can my fold be justified ? |

Against a 14/10 Ugh. I think I can fold here PF but calling doesn't seem terrible. I fold turn though for sure, at best your splitting.

Re: AK under pressure to dodgy flop 600nl
U put him on a range of hands on flop where u r tying at best , and 3 clean outs which might not even scoop, and peel for a 3/4 pot bet?

Re: AK under pressure to dodgy flop 600nl
Loveurbuoy can you explain a little further the comments...
Hero raises to $18, 3 folds, Villain raises to $54,Hero folds a hand that will not get paid off when it hits and will cost him lots when behind (barring a flush or flopped broadway of course) For others asking his figures were ultra tight. I had 120 hands on him. I saw the villain push with AK on one previous occasion after he raised...villain was then re-raised and villain pushed. I think I shouldve re-raised preflop. Post Flop I think though I am in trouble. Its a curious hand cos Im not sure its such a great flop for AK to the kinda villain Im up against... |
