Here's the situation: Each division leader has at least a two game lead. Anything can happen, but I'd say it's a safe bet they all end up winning their divisions. After that, you have 5 teams at 7-5. The next closest teams are 5-7, so it's very likely the two wildcards will come from the five 7-5 teams.
Edit: The Jets last game is at home, my mistake. |

I picked Jets and Bengals. While the Jets have three road games, its the easiest schedule. Bengals have two tough road games, but they also don't have a rookie QB, so I picked them over Denver.

Wow, this is tough. The Jets suck, but they also face a bunch of other team that suck. The Broncos decided cutler over Plummer this season, and unless Cutler is Roethlisberger, it just wasn't a smart thing to do, considering variance and the current skill level of the Broncos. Who knows what to expect from the Jags? The Bengals are a good team that's getting better, but that's not an easy schedule. The Chiefs are also good, but their schedule is beast.
I'm very happy the Seahawks are in the NFC (and the NFC west for that matter). |

Broncos/Jets. Based mearly on strength of schedule. Really a moot point as these also rans are likely to be fodder for the Div. winners (countdown til someone mentions PIT last year).
I'd say it'll be: Wild Card NYJ (5) @ NE (4) 17-28 DEN (6) @ BAL (3) 6-14 Divisional NE (4) @ SD (1) 24-28 BAL(3) @ IND(2) 10-24 AFC Champ. IND (2)@ SD (1) either 14-28 or 42-31 Cody |

I'll take Denver & KC. They have a big advantage in that KC plays Jax at home and Denver plays Cincy at home. Jags schedule is clearly the toughest. Jets are home to Oak fwiw, although that's sort of a wasted home game. I dunno if their schedule is as easy as people are saying - I'd much rather host Minny/Miami and travel to Buffalo/Oakland if I were them.

Denver has no shot at the wildcard...them winning one game out of the four is being hopeful.
Its Bengals for sure and then the Jets. Jax's schedule is just too tough. 1. SD 2. Indy 3. Balt 4. NE 5. Cinni 6. Jets San Diego runs the table and wins the SB |

[/ QUOTE ] Just FYI, Cincy has the tiebreak over KC in the event of a tie, due to winning in head to head play early in the season. Should Cincy beat Denver in Denver (who has lost 3 straight home games), Cincy seems a shoe in. jvs |

By that criteria KC is 10-6 and Cincy is 9-7. Obv. it's not crazy to think Cincy could win @Denver, which would change everything. |

I took Jets and Broncos. Bengals were my 3rd pick, but I expect Broncos to defeat them soundly. Mostly because I'm a Patriots fan so I have an inflated opinion of the Broncos since they own us.
