Tough spot, it's probably a fold for me, as you'll probably face a bet on the river as well.
Difficult to tell what he has without having a feel for the player in this spot.. observing how he plays trips, flushes and houses in other hands would help me decide where hes at here

Care to elaborate why? Because villain is LAG or is this a standard move?

Checking this flop is fine. You'll often induce bluffs/action from lesser hands such as pps and the like. Also it helps for pot control...AT isn't a great hand in this spot and you'll typically check one of the streets for pot control anyway. With villan being a LAG, helps even more.

Anyways, as played, I would probably call turn/call river. Villan can be doing this with a pair+FD or something (maybe 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]7) or whatever. River would not be an insta call but if he pots into me again, I would probably cringe. Then flip a coin...

Against a passive player it usually means they were slowplaying and dont want to let you get a free card or the turn helped them(completed a draw, gave them a set/FH)

Against a player this aggressive it usually means he thinks your full of [censored]. I call down here.

Checking is well and good if you plan on calling down against a player this aggressive. The only time I consider folding this hand against this player is if the river is also a spade.
