Tribeca/Tain/Ipoker
Any ideas if these 3 will use the same software in the near future? My educated guess would be that they'll al convert to Ipoker in Q1 of 2007.
Personally I think Tribeca has the best software by a mile (of the 3, but also very good in general), with Tain being one of the worst in the industry. |

Re: Tribeca/Tain/Ipoker
Playtech gave the Tribeca sites six months to find a new home or move to iPoker. Looks like a lot of them (mostly Doyle's Room and the DBPN skins) will be moving elsewhere.
Personally, I consider the Tain and Playtech software medium quality. Never got around to playing at Tribeca before they announced the buyout. Don't think I will until things settle down. |

Re: Tribeca/Tain/Ipoker
They will all be moving to iPoker; and Playtech's apparent decision is to junk bin Tribeca and Tain's poker software rather than sell either to a competitor. Not even Doyle's Room has an option to acquire the Tribeca software platform.

Re: Tribeca/Tain/Ipoker
Alas, that makes sense for them.
I don't really like the fact that now 2 of the bigger networks are run by low reputation, shady companies (playtech and bwin). |
