Default 10NL FR 88 meets overs on flop

Hello, I'm fairly new to no limit poker and have trouble playing medium pocket pairs. Am I being way too weak tight with this pocket pair? I hadn't been at the table long when I played this, but villain had been showing aggression in the last few hands, and winning pots uncontested.

Here is the hand:

I'm grateful for all answers and advice!

No set on a flop that brought 2 overcards so I like a fold.

Very easy fold.

You're drawing to two outs and are about a 6-1 dog to improve. (Not to mention that your opponent uberbet the pot.)

Small and middle pairs in NL (from what they tell me) have good value only when they hit a set -- and then you hope to stack some poor nit when you do hit. In this case, I don't like the preflop raise either...

Even though villain was aggressive, he only needs a Qx or Jx hand to have you beat -- and judging from his call of your raise, there's no reason to think he doesn't have that, or KK or AA...

And, yeah, welcome to the uNL forum. You should read the stickied topics and learn how to use the hand converters.

Thanks very much for your helpful comments. I have usually been limping middle pairs, but read advice on here that I should raise them. Seeing as they are one of my biggest earning hands overall so far (tiny sample), I thought I'd give it a try. Glad the fold on missed flop was right, at least.

Thanks for the welcome and advice about the sticky/hand converter. I have read the stickies, and this is the only one of the hand converters listed that worked for me.
