Chicago: Casino with Lowest Limits?

Just wondering if anybody knows the local places that have the lowest limits. I went to Resorts and Majestic Star in Gary and the lowest FL was 5/10 and a 300 buck minimum for No Limit. Anywhere that's better? Time charge for all NL? Also, if you guys have a favorite casino let me know.

Did you really go to Majestic Star? They have 3/6 for limit as well as a 100NL game that rakes a very high $6 every half hour. Don't know if that helps.

Yeah, I went there during the day over the summer and 5/10 wasthe minimum but it was during the day so there may have been decreased demand for it at the time. Thank you.

Majestic Star is the lowest at 3/6. I've never seen 3/6 not going.

In my recent visits, 3/6 is the only thing going at Majestic Star. You can try Potawatomie in Milwaukee for 2/4 or 3/6.

Hey Joe, have you played the Rockford Charity games? I've heard a little bit about them but never took a serious look. Is it all limit games in the cash games? How many people tend to show up at these things? And can anyone just show up and play?

I play at RCG when they in the Chicago area on Thursdays. I feel that for a low limit player the 1/3 games pretty good. I usually play in the 150 max & 300 max no limit holdem games. The rake is $5 max vs $12 & $14 hour rate at the casinos. Every time I have found the games to be soft. Yes anybody can walk in and play. Over $250 in winnings they give you a pre paid credit card. I usually sell chips and work around it.

RCG is a good place to go for low limit games, I've played their 1-3 spread, 2-5 spread and 5/10 limit games. All are a fish pond usually. Yeah and just sell chips to somebody to work around the CC thing.
