I think this guy is going to have nothing or a lesser hand that wont call a river raise very often, so often that I would rather just call the river. Its hard for me to even put this guy on a 2nd best hand like a wheel draw type of hand(A3,A5)cuz he might be aggressive enough to 3bet this hand preflop. If I could safely fold to a river 3bet, then I would raise the river every time, but since I know I'm not gonna fold I prefer just calling here.

without a read that says villain is a donkey postflop I tend to just call here. Itīs so blatantly obvious what your hand is here that a raise here on the river is -EV against most villains. If you could safely fold against a 3-bet I would like it more but since you cant do that more often than not I choose to call in these situations.

Put another way. against most players a bet here on the river is either a bluff or for value against any Ace. The only value here is if villain has been donking a worse ace. then you will be called...

its okay, though i always hate getting 3-bet here which i know is happening a lot more than it seems it should. a lot of the times you'll feel dumb when he has 54 though.

I don't like it. I think it loses you most when behind gains you least when ahead. When villain has you crushed, you are now going to either call 3 on the turn, or fold. As well, it allows villain to bluff 3-bet on the turn & push you off the best hand. I think passive play in these situations is the winner.
