girl with abandoment issues

I've been somewhat close with a woman for a little over a year. Completely platonic, but a few times I think she wanted more, but I'm not really attracted to her, and she's pretty unstable at times.

Two weeks ago, she called me last minute because somebody flaked on her for a concert. This was the first time I had seen her in at least three months. I met up with her there, and was very polite, even though I wasn't down with the music. At the end of the show, I said good-bye and gave her a big hug, and she told me she loves me. She throws those words around. Anyway, I smiled and left. Earlier in the night I had told her I had tickets for a concert coming up and I'd like to go with her, and she accepted my invite.

So yesterday I text message her:

That was the last thing I said. I've probably gotten twenty text messages from her since then, even a flurry at about 4AM. Basically berating me for being such an awful friend, and never to speak to her again.

So was I that out of line, or is she just psycho?

Was your invitation to her repayment for the first concert? Cuz I can't see why you want to have anything to do with her again, especially of you are not interested.

how can anyone be saying this girl is nuts????? he went to a concert with her, he asked her to go out with him and she said yes initially and then changed her mind and made up an excuse. i don't see how she is pyscho or has 'abandonment issues'.

I guess I have a penchant for submitting to domineering women. This friendship has brought me little joy and tons of headaches. I'm done. For real this time.
