That river card is really unpleasant. I haven't played a ton of hands against wpr, but I think the flop is a definite check against him. turn is standard. River fold isn't easy, but I think it's right.

I don't get why you guys think the flop check is good? You're in position on future rounds if he calls?

If he does call then you can check the turn behind controlling the pot size to call a mid size bet on the river.

Are you checking the flop to keep the pot at $55? What are your reasons for doing this?

I like the way this is played unless you're playing like a crazy person.

I agree completely, anyone mind expressing why they think checking the flop is so good? This seems like an easy bet to me.

If we're ahead, he'll fold almost all the time. If we're behind, he won't fold anything. He has very little chance to outdraw us. If we check, he might put money in later with a PP or AJ, if he has it.

I dont rele understand. If you're reraising pf w/ AQ, y r u folding an A-high board? QJ- if he's good i doubt he has that (b/c wouldn't raise and wouldn't call RERAISE). I would lead flop for info and instafold to a raise. I would check behind turn. As played, would probably call river. My advice- dont reraise pf w/ AQ if ur gonna fold on Ace high flop so easily (at least dont reraise against someone u think is so solid w/ AQ).
