Default Simple value shove or check call river?

10/20NL full ring effective stacks $2150.

Don't know much about villain in this hand, but he seems a bit loose, that's about all I can say.

I raise A9s UTG+1 to $80, villain calls on the button, BB calls.

Pot: $250
Flop 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I bet 200, villain calls, BB folds.

Turn A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I bet 400, villain calls.

Pot $1450

River 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Check call to induce a bluff from flush draw or shove and hope he calls with an ace?

This is a tough hand. I would not check here for a couple of reasons. First, he could have A7 or something like that and you're going to call his bet anyway. Secondly he might have something like trips and you're still going to call his bet.

Since you've been betting heavy the entire hand I would throw another big bet out there and he might possibly think you have a stright and then fold (probably not)... but if he was drawing he cannot call you.

Put him to the test to save yourself what might turn out to be a tough decision if he bets.

It won't be a tough decision if I check since I am instacalling whatever he bets.

This whole post is a big WTF.

If he's been loose/agro, you should check. If he's been loose passive, you should push.

What if he has been loose non-specific?

Roll a 12 sided die and push if you roll a 7 or less.

If this is ten handed I'm not sure preflop is all that good. I think your postflop line is good, I would c/c the river.
