Blind Battle: river line w/ trips
4-handed WPEX .50/1
Villain looks TAG-decent over about 40 hands. The other guys are loose, and this is our first real blind battle. Folds to me in SB with K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I raise and call BB's 3-bet. Flop (6SB): K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I bet. BB raises. I 3-bet. BB caps. I call. Turn (7BB): 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I check and call. River (9BB) K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] River line, please? Thanks, Andrew |

Re: Blind Battle: river line w/ trips
what do you think his hand range was on the flop?
On how many hands of that range did you just suck out on the river? This is an easy check/call for me. |

In that range I beat QT, QJ, JJ, JT...but he is probably less likely to cap the flop with those hands. Sorry, guess this is an easy check-call? Thanks, Andrew Edit: I forgot about AA in villain's range that I beat. |

Re: Blind Battle: river line w/ trips
Your behind almost every likely BB hand (AK, KQ, QQ, TT, 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]s) except AA and QT. You lay 2:1 on a bet because you could get raised.
I think you're flop 3B was ill advised, although you at least have straight outs if you need them. I like River C/C. |
