No hands on MP but he seemed pretty loose in the first or a couple of orbits i've played with him, hence the repop preflop.
I found this hand quite interesting. Would guys please comment on my line. Questions: WHat would you do? (I imagine nobody would take my line) Do you think this line is REASONABLE? btw, I like my line PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (5 handed) internettexasholdem.com saw flop|saw showdown MP ($170.25) Hero ($200) SB ($432.05) BB ($345.95) UTG ($114.75) Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 1 fold, MP raises to $6, Hero raises to $20, 2 folds, MP calls $14. that turn bet is crazy, he probably has wacked out diamonds sometimes, but i think he will also have KJ and have been trying to get a raise out of you with the weak turn lead, Or maybe just a cheap card for his bd clubs, iono. FWIW i almost always bet flop in these spots.

What did you think he would bet the river with there?

As played preflop I would have bet out on the flop.. with the awful turn action he probably ends up with something ridiculous like a club flush.

If your rerasing range is wide and you CB every time, isn't that exploitable?

A) Bet 32 on flop, check turn most of the time, river - id be more inclined to call if turn went check/check.
B) call turn, fold river. tc |

Rotter,
Usually when 3 betting pf I like to follow up with a cbet here. With the way the games have been getting a lot of people are calling real light though. As played after the flop, I play it the same way. I just call his $2 and I call his $50 on river because against an unknown this is a missed flush draw a lot at $200nl based on the way he played it. They usually don't bet so heavy on a missed draw, but I can't see not calling river here based on the way you played flop/turn. |
