Default Opinions/Options on best way to play this hand pre-flop

Midway in an MTT with 800+ players. Hero has an M of 13 and an average stack. Situation looks about like this.

SB = 400, BB = 800, Ante = 50

SB (12,500)
BB (15,000)
Hero (22,000) AA - Image is tight
UTG+1 (18,000)
MP1 (8,000)
MP2 (32,500)
MP3 (18,000)
CO (14,500)
Button (19,500)

So you've waited for them and here they show up. Aces! It would have been so much nicer to get them the next hand when in the BB...

I am interested on opinions on how to best play Aces in this kind of situation.

Barring a hyper-aggressive table, make your standard raise and see what happens.

Depends on your image up to this point. LAG or TAG? Table bully or Table nit? You say tight. Has everyone been folding everytime you raise? How active has the rest of the table been? Standard play is to raise obv. Limp reraising is your only other play.

If you've been limping a lot I like a limp here.

My image is tight, far from table bully (TAG). My raises have been getting a lot of respect.

When considering a standard raise I thought that my image combined with my fairly large stack at the table (keeping in mind that the stacks at the table in general are shallow) and a UTG standard raise would most likely result in picking up the blinds. I am looking at this situation in the hope of being able to induce action.

I considered a push, a limp or a 5 times the BB. Comments

If you haven't limped a lot I like raising to 2.5xBB.

I considered a push (HORRIBLE) , a limp (Probably your best play given your description) or a 5 times the BB (Not the best, but better than pushing) . Comments

When I got in this situation I simply raised 3 time the big blind, it was folded around and I picked up the blinds. I made a mental note because I knew there was a better way to play this situation.

I like the follwing two answers:

If you have been limping a lot limp

If you have not been limping a lot raise 2.5 BB.

Don't be overly results oriented. Just because you raised and nobody called doesn't mean you made the wrong play, it means you raised and nobody called.
