Default Which athlete has cost you the most money?

I'm talking, this guy either missed two consecutive free throws the time you bet big on his team, then hits a three to beat you when you bet against him.

Or fumbles on the goal line, or missed several crucial kicks over the years, ect...

For me, the athletes that have KILLED me over the years are/were Barry Sanders, Dante Culpepper and Scottie Pippen.

How bout you guys, which athletes have murdered your sports bets?

therx.com has contests every so often where you can win a 50 inch plasma TV if you guess every prop bet right. About 5 or 6 times, I got all but 1 right, just missing out on the TV> The one I remember well was where my only miss was some game where I guessed Chauncey Billups wouldn't miss a free throw in the game, and he went 2 for 4. I've never had $3000 of exposure (or however much a 50 inch plasma TV is) on a single bet, so that one has to take the cake.

Otherwise, I make too many bets to remember one game to the next, and often don't even watch games I bet.

coolers- big ben (85%), brady (85%), brooks (5%), vick (50%), mcgrady (60%), ray allen (30%)

heaters- peyton (95%), LT (95%), LJ (65%), mcnair (75%), favre (55%), culpepper (45%), nash (95%), arenas (75%), artest (65%)

the percentages are my estimates of what % of the bets are for his team (the rest are against obv.)

EDIT: also the heaters have just been pretty consistent winners for me, the coolers have destroyed me

Sammy Sosa always seemed to know which way I bet.

He was good for a baserunning mistake AND a botched fielding play whenever I bet on the Cubs. And for three HR's on days I bet against them.

I took a under 3.5K prop. Preston Wilson manages to go 0-3 with three strikeouts looking like a 12 year old each time. Most counts went strike/foul/whiff.

So basically, Preston Wilson, Sammy Sosa and Chauncey Billups will not be getting Christmas cards from us this year?

Dee Brown and the Illini Vs Indiana, Illini weren't giving up much the game was in Indiana, Dee Brown ended the game with like 5 points. I lost by 1 point so, He didn't even have to come close to his average to cover for me. I lost a lot of money on that game and I haven't made a bet since.
