Why did I get beat.........?
Been playing just a short while mainly at Stars at $0.02-$0.04 level over the last month or so I've been doing pretty well winning more than I lose.... Just today I went over to Party as I still have about $70 left in that account and played the $0.05-$0.10 limit game there and lost most hands I played.... I can not beleve that the game on Party is any harder but I did just seem to luck out on the river quite a lot....
I have gotten myself a copy of SSHM and have been using the advice in it pretty well on Stars but not so well on Party.... I also have Poker Tracker so I can review the hands that I've won and lost... I know I still have a long way to go to get better at poker but has anyone had a similar experience of playing well on one site but not the other... Any advice would be of use....

too small a sample, variance, and/or you're playing bad. Sign up for a session review and don't sweat it.
Other than that there isn't enough information in your post to have an informed opinion.

I loose constantly AAAAAAAAAAAAAARGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG Winning micro-limit cash game players; fact or fiction I just can't win at these levels more idiots at the lowest levels How do you beat this game? Micro limits is all luck And FWIW, don't try to move up, they dont respect raises there either. The damn fish !!!!!!! loose game rant

[/ QUOTE ] Agreed, We've all had sessions where it seemed like we couldn't win a hand. I had a recent session where I was 0/1 with AA, 0/3 with KK, and 1/2 with QQ and I hadn't slowplayed any (ok, maybe one hand...), thats just variance. I don't think the players are much different. Bad play compounds bad luck, so review your session and look for mistakes. You could try reading Brags, Beats, and Variance - but I doubt it will make you feel any better.

Much appreciated with the advice maybe I needed a bad session to put me back on course... I think I just let the wins on Stars colour my judgement thinking Party would be just as easy...I'm going to reveiw my winning hands and losing hands in that game.... thanks again....

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, also since they introduced these micro-levels, and all the Americans leaving, .5/1 and 1/2 have been total rock gardens during my play hours (~ 19-23 GMT). Hello Stars! (Oddly, I was sleepless one night at 2AM and started playing a bit and found bunches of super-loose 6-max tables at that time.)
