I dont wanna get a * in OOT ...anyone own this?

Is it decent? Offer is $200 off list and Yamaha home theatre thrown in.

Better to buy other brand? (I know nothing)

This is becoming an all too common excuse in BBV.

that being said - your best bet is to go to the store and look at the TV. Compare it to the ones around the store.

Well true, but store environment is quite different from darkened living room, sound is different as well. Was just curious if any owners of this unit here that can give me their opinion. I never considered a Toshiba before, but this seems like decent deal for Canada $$.

Go to tigerdirect.com, I just bought a 32" LCD for $550 which was 1/2 the price of the companies online site (ViewSonic).

btw, for what it's worth, my gf bought a 32 inch lcd last week. compared it side by side to my calibrated CRT RPTV. no comparison. the CRT kills the lcd with colors, black levels, etc. CRTs are what, like, 15,000:1 contrast ratio? lcd picture was sharper though, but didnt make up for the weaker colors
