Default JJ Turn Trouble

I tried to get a little tricky and just limp in on the SB bc I had been stealing like a mofo against BB. What is my plan on the turn here?

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $1/$2
6 players

Stack sizes:
UTG: $135.95
UTG+1: $205.40
CO: $197.70

Hero: $209.40
BB: $295.45

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
4 folds, Hero calls, BB raises to $6, Hero calls.

if you call this action turn "trouble" then you need to post this in bbv. sorry he had 9T.

by the way, if youve been stealing, then shouldnt you want to keep "stealing" when you actually have a good hand?

That's besides the point, I'm new to NL and am interested in thoughts on the turn.

absolutely second what steve said-- the reason you are stealing in the first place is so villain won't give you credit when you do get a good hand. this was a weirdly played hand. ad when you play hands weirdly like this you get yourself into difficult situations. try to avoid difficult situations.

No, it is most certainly NOT besides the point.

Raise it preflop as steve said.

Then since you didnt, get some more $$ in on the flop. He made a small raise preflop, probably doesnt have much, maybe he has AA/KK. You need to build the pot so stacks can go in easier.

I would just 4b turn, T,9,6,5 all either improve villain to better hand or kill a lot of your action. Get the chips in son!

postflop is much harder to play than pre. Get preflop right first. hint: raise.

I can understand the limp, but disagree with it. I hate getting no action with my premium hands (something very different about NL than limit). I'd raise the first time around, and after he raises I think you need to put in a raise and make it about 18-24 to go (18 is on the small side I think, but it's probably enough to deny him odds providing you don't get stacked everytime he outflops you but still entices him to call with hands thinking he can bust you on right flops).

I think you should call and shove any river. He could have any set here, T9, and maybe overpairs (flop underbet is really weird for an overpair though). I don't see how it's not getting all in here though, almost regardless of what you do.

FWIW, I'd be slightly more inclined to put him on a set because of his wussy, "I don't wanna scare a limper in a blind confrontation away" flop bet than the straight, although your post title indicates otherwise.
