Default Hard Rock, FL $140 2 heads up hands.

Entered heads up with a 9500-5500 chip lead blinds 300-600. My opponent was extremely tight all game. He limped with TT or JJ 3 times. My image was somewhat loose as I tripled up on the 2nd hand and pushed some speculative hands against the short stacks. I kept the pressure on during heads up and when the blinds hit 400-800 I had a 12,800- 2200 edge. I called the BB with 9T. He pushed all in.

I called. What do you think of my call?

He turned over K9 and doubled up to 4400.

After folding the SB (which he did quite a bit), he had a stack of 4000.

Next hand I get A4s and raise to 2000. He pushes all-in. What's my move? Other than the K9 push he was tight as a drum. Was the K9 push part of him changing gears? If I fold I still have a 9K to 6K lead. Is that worth anything?

In the 9T hand, im calling his allin everytime.... for these reasons

1. you have a nice chip lead..
2. Your likey a 40/60, because any Ace and any smaller pairs are in his range....
3. Why not raise preflop? u was planning on calling anyway, so raise preflop and make him make the decision to play for his stack

I don`t play the 140$ies, but y is the second hand not an instacall after you raised? its just ~2000 more and you are getting ~the right price even if dominated (which is still worst case). With these huge blinds it will end up in an gamble anyway and A4s is not that bad HU...(tell me, if this is bad advice for 140$). Even the nittiest Rookie will recognize the situation and change gears.

Just push both preflop...you shouldn't be folding either of them.

the 1st hand you should either be pushing or folding preflop. The weakest possible play is to limp in then call his allin. youd be much better off pushing allin yourself that way he may fold his better hand.

the a4 hand again i think you should just push allin, but as played you have to call here because of the odds you are getting.

"Other than the K9 push he was tight as a drum."
This is a huge hand for him under the circumstances, no reason to think he's thrown caution to the wind. (Must call IMO)
Tough second hand with the 4, any PP 4's or over and any Ace has you dominated..slight favorite otherwise. I like a fold here but maybe I'm being a little too tight.

BTW, he couldn't have folded the SB too much based on chip count and amount of hands HU?

The $140's pay $580, 350, 225
The $250's pay $1075, 645, 430
The $520's pay $2400, 1440, 960
The $1050's pay $5000, 3000, 2000

The reason for different apparent rake's is because they take out $5 per person for the bad beat jackpot.
Its basically 15% + $5
